In the Department of Anaesthesia more than 4600 anaesthesias are  performed annually. We are devoted to satisfy all individual wishes and needs of our patients. A team of experienced, highly qualified doctors and certified nurses will provide maximum patient safety in the OR using most modern medical equipment. We want to eliminate pain thereby considering the nature of the procedure and the patients` individual needs, also in high risk patients. Prior to each procedure an informed consent is obtained in a personal conversation in the anaesthesiology out-patient clinic. We will inform the patients about anaesthetic procedures suitable for them and about individualized postoperative pain therapy.
