The
Department of Internal Medicine is exclusively run by hospital-associated
private practitioners who are treating all diseases in the field
of internal medicine. We provide the most modern technology
to diagnose organ function such as diagnostic-interventional
endoscopy including ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreaticography),
removal of stones in the bile duct, stent placement, endosonography
including puncture, abdominal ultrasound, colour duplex sonography,
long-term ECG, and -blood pressure monitoring, clinical chemistry.
We focus on the diagnosis and therapy of hepatic and gastrointestinal
diseases - gastroenterology -, of cardiovascular diseases
- cardiology - and of metabolic diseases, and we also
focus on palliative oncology.

practice (internal medicine, family medicine) with
an associated in-patient unit for private practitioners.
It includes twelve beds which are directly connected
to and integrated in Martha-Maria Hospital.- Endoscopic and general cardiologic examinations
(long-term ECG, long-term blood pressure measurement,
stress-ECG) using modern medical technique and providing
an extensive individual patient care also at home
(home visits).
- The direct association with the renowned Martha-Maria
Hospital allows a continuative medical therapy by
the treating physician covering all relevant aspects.
